Abstract: A nanometer porphyrin trimer was firstly synthesized with 1,3-dibromopropane as a bridge-linked agent and the fluorescence property and thermostability were studied. The results show that the fluorescence property and thermostability of the trimer are different from those of monoporphyrin. The effects of the molecule structure on the optical property and the thermostability were also studied in detail.
