Abstract: An antibody phage library was screened with two target molecules, IFNα-2a and FGFR-GST, and the KD value of each round of panning was measured. It was found that the apparent KD values decreased along with each additional panning round, which indicates the increase of the binding affinity between the phage and the target molecules. This result shows that the KD value is a reliable intrinsic parameter and a new method for screening efficiency detection is thus provided.
