Synthesis of the Stereoisomers of the Sex Pheromones of the Southern Corn Rootworm

Abstract: A simple and efficient asymmetric synthesis of the sex pheromone of the southern corn rootworm is discribed. The key step is the asymmetric Michael addition of enoylsultam with virtually complete asymmetric induction(e.e.%>99%)
