    A series of aluminium-containing α-type hydrated zirconium hydrogen phosphates,Zr1-xAlx(H1+x/2PO4 )2 with x=0-0.06,were hydrothermally synthesized and characterizedby means of X-ray diffraction,differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric analysis.The proton conductivity,1.2×10-4S·cm-1 at 180℃ was found in Zr0.98Al0.02(H1.01PO4)2·H2O.Humidity-sensing measurements were carried out at 120℃ and 140℃ respectively.Even a limited substitution of Al for Zr can enhance both proton conductivity and humidity sensitivity.

    Five kinds of molybdovanadophosphoric acids H7[P2Mo17VO62],H8[P2Mo16·V2O62],H9 [P2Mo15V3O62],H8[P2Mo14V4O61(H2O)]and H9[P2Mo13V5O61(H2O)]have been synthesized.Their protop conductivities(C) have been measured.The effects of three main factors (frequency,hydration numbers,temperature)on the conductivity have been investigated.In some degree,heteropoly compounds with different structures give a different conductivity.

    Fifteen M(S2COR)n complexes were prepared.According to the data provided by IR,UV-Vis absorption spectrometry and X-ray diffraction,this paper covers the relationship between molecular structures of xanthate complexes and their absorption spectra and a criterion of chelate stability is also proposed.The stability mechanism of xanthate chelates and related rules were investigated.

    Complexes[Ln(L)(Cl2]Cl·3H2O (Ln =La, Pr, Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,Dy,Er and Lu)and[Lu(L)(H2O)(NO3 )2]NO3(L=N,N'-diethyltriglycollic dianilide)have been prepared in the nonaqueous medium,the new complexes of which have been characterized by means of elemental analysis,conductivity measurements,IRspectra,1H NMR spectra and TG-DTA techniques.In all the complexes,the organic ligand showed tetradentate behaviour.The structure analysis of [Lu(L)(H2O)(NO3 )2]NO3 showed that the lutetiurn atom is nine-coordinated by one tetradentate ligand , two bidentate nitrate groups and one water molecule with the following mean bond lengths:Lu—O(etheric),0.2396;Lu—O(carbonyl),0.2245;Lu—O(nitrate),0.2397;Lu—O(water),0.2296 nm.

    The gold electrodes coated by n-alkanethiol with various chain lengths were used to study the permeability of uric acid,ascorbic acid,4-aminophenol,paracetanol and phenacetin by means of linear sweep voltammetry.The results show that the optimum chain length is n=10.The improvements in the selectivity and the stability of the amperometric detection of these compounds in a flow stream were obtained by n-alkanethiol self assembled monolayers modified electrodes based on their differences in the hydrophobicity and the permeability.

    A post-column reaction chemiluminescence detection method in ion chromatography is described in this paper.The chemiluminescence system was indigo cramine-hydrogen peroxide. The chemiluminescence reaction conditions and the separation conditions of Co and Cu in chromatography were presented.The detection limits were 1.0 and 2.0×10-8 g/mL for Co and Cu respectively.

    The present paper covers the reactions of M+ +CH4→M+CH2+H2(M=Sc,Y,La)investigated theoretically using ab initio MO methods and reaction channels onthe singlet potential energy surfaces (PESs) examined and discusses the reactionmechanism. The results indicate that the formation of M+CH2 is primarily via a sin-glet H—M+—CH3 intermediate,followed by a four-center elimination of H2,all ofthese reactions have negative activation energies and the trend of reactivity is La+>Sc+>Y+.

    The regeneration procedure of Q-state PbSparticles in lead arachidate(PbAr)Langmuir-Blodgett films have been studied by means of UV-vis absorption, FT-IR spectra and quartz crystal microbalance(QCM) measurements.The results showed that the mole fraction of PbS particles in LB films was increased by immersing PbS containing ArH LBfilms in a Pb2+ buffer solution,followed by being reexposed to H2S gas.

    The SCF-Xα-SWmolecular orbital calculations were carried out on the modelcompounds of binuclear and trinuclear gold(Ⅰ)using starting potential of Au atom and the Watson sphere.The energy level order of the frontier orbital of a binuclear gold model compound is in agreement with the experimental result.The calculated ionization potential of the binuclear model compound is consistent well with the photoelectron spectrum of Au (Me)(PMe3).The metal-metal interactions are discussed.The calculated electronic absorption spectra of binuclear and trinuclear gold(Ⅰ)are basically in agreement with experimental results.
