Synthesis and Magnetic Properties of Binuclear Coblat(Ⅱ) Complexes with Alkoxide Bridge

Abstract: Two binuclear Co(I)complexes [Co2L(μ-OH)](ClO4)2CH3OH(Ⅱ)and [Co2L(μ-Cl)Cl2]H2O(2) were synthesized[where HL is 1:2 Schiff bases derived from 1, 3-diamino-2-hydroxypropane and picolinaldehyde N-oxide]. Based on the IR, elemental analyses and conductivity measurement it is proposed that these complexes have an endogenous bridge (alkoxide)and an exogenous bridge (It can be an anion).
