Abstract:

By the easy synthesis, we introduced thiazole to pyrene , thus developing a new class of fluorescent dyes. Then we studied the fluorescence and UV/Vis properties of these dyes. In the single crystal structure, an extraordinary arrangement was found. And these results were in good agreement with theoretical (TD-DFT) calculations.
