Syntheses and Antibacterial Activities of Novel Erythromycin O-Alkylamidoximes

Abstract: Nine novel erythromycin O-alkylamidoxime derivatives were prepared in excellent yields via the condensation of different O-alkylhydroxylamines with erythromycin imino ether. The structures of all the compounds prepared were confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR and MS, and their in vtiro antibacterial activities were tested. Among the compounds, two of them showed good antibacterial activities.
