Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Activity of Polyoxometalates Derived from α-P2W15O5612-

Abstract: Six new polyoxometalates a-KaHbP2W15M3O62·nH2O(a+b=12, M= Ti, Zr) and KcHdP4·W30M4O112·mH2O(c+d=20; M=Al, Ga, In, Fe) were synthesized from the lacunary precursor Na12[a-P2W15O56]·24H2O and characterized by means of elemental analysis, IR spectra, 183W NMR spectra and electrochemical methods.
