Synthesis of Norbornene-Ethylene Block Copolymer by the Polymerization Mechanism Conversion

Abstract: A change of the polymerization mechanism from living ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) into coordination polymerization by converting the titanacyclobutane attached to a polynorbornene(PNBE)chain into titanocene alkoxcidehas been used to the synthesis of poly (NBE-b-ethylene).
