Abstract:

Transtion metal catalyzed vinylation of organic halides are known to be a very convenient method for forming carbon-carbon bonds at unsubstituted vinylic position. The versatility of stilbenes is well known because of its various biological active components, the variety of its reactions in organic syntheses, and its ability to function as a bonding partner for metals in complexes.
