Synthesis of Some New Long-chain Salen Catalysts

Abstract:

In the research of enantioselective epoxidation of unfunctionalized alkenes using Salen compounds,Katasuki1 and Jacobsen2 pointed out that 3 and 3' groups of Salen were very important to increase the e.e of the catalytic product.
