The Study of the Reaction Mechanism for the Dehydrogenation of Ethylbenzene on Iron Oxide Catalysts (Ⅰ)——IR Spectra of Adspecies and Kinetic Isotope Effects

Abstract: In situ PT-IRspectroscopy was used to examine ethylbenzene adspecies on iron-oxide-besed catalysts,and the method of kinetic isotope effects was used to investigate the rate determining step of the dehydrogenation.Apossible reaction mechanism is proposed.
