Abstract: This special issue provides a snapshot of the recent efforts on bio-inspired materials, including their unique properties, correlation between multiscale structures and properties, design and synthesis, and applications. We expect this issue can arouse more interest of readers in bio-inspired material chemistry, and then boost the progress of the related studies.
