The natural products containing isodaucane skeleton 1 belonged to a rare kind of sesqiterpenes.1 In recent years,investigation on this kind sesquiterpenes have been attracting the interest of chemists,because some isodaucane sesquiterpenes isolated from the medical plants have been shown important bioactivities.2
